FAQs

Everything parents most commonly ask — answered honestly.

General

We are open 24/7, 365 days a year — including weekends, public holidays, and overnights. If you need us, we're here.

We are not ECDA registered because ECDA licenses are only issued for Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm operations. Registering would mean we could no longer serve families on weekends, public holidays, or overnight — and that is precisely when many parents need us most.

Yes! We have parent-accompanied sessions like sensory play and music. For drop-off babysitting, there is a hot desking area where you can work while your child plays nearby.

Certainly! Many children come to TFC for just a few hours a day — to interact with other children, play, and do age-appropriate activities. One important note: there is absolutely no screen time given to children here.

Bookings & Policies

We require at least 12 hours' notice. For shorter notice, we'll always try our best to accommodate — but availability cannot be guaranteed.

All cancellations and amendments must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in the hours being forfeited. This protects our caregivers who have planned their time around your booking.

Hours are deducted based on your booked timings, not your actual drop-off or pick-up times. We plan our caregiver schedules around your booking, so changing it last-minute would be unfair to our team. Please book the hours you actually plan to use.

Yes. Late pick-up is charged at $60/hour, broken down as: 1–10 minutes = $10, 11–20 minutes = $20, 21–30 minutes = $30. Please plan your timing carefully.

Social media consent is not required for regular packages. It is only relevant for promotional packages that offer discounts in exchange for being featured on our channels.

During the Session

Yes. For children under 12 months, we provide routine care updates covering milk, nap, and diaper changes. All children have photos taken during activities so you can stay connected to their day.

Food is served at designated mealtimes. We are not halal-certified, but we do not serve pork. We always accommodate children with food allergies or dietary restrictions — just let us know in advance and we'll prepare accordingly.

Health & Wellness

As an alternative care centre, we accept children who are mildly unwell with a cough, flu, or low-grade fever below 37.4°C. We do not accept children with high fever or contagious conditions such as HFMD, stomach flu, diarrhoea, vomiting, or conjunctivitis.

Yes — for doctor-prescribed medication only (cough syrup, flu medication, and paracetamol; no ibuprofen). The child's name, dosage, and frequency must be clearly stated on the bottle. Parents will be asked to complete a medication form before drop-off.

We have three separate play areas and will arrange for children to play in different spaces so they interact with different sets of toys. Unwell children receive the exact same attention and activities — they are never isolated in a "sick bay" for the entire day.
